ExploreTextiles.ca is a career awareness resource focusing on the many exciting opportunities available in Canada's modern textile industry. This site was developed by the Textiles Human Resources Council (THRC) with assistance from the Government of Canada's Sector Council Program.
The Textiles Council is an independent, non-profit, industry partnership. It was created in 1994 in recognition of the overriding importance of skills development to international competitiveness. The Textiles Council develops innovative training and education solutions to respond to established and emerging textile industry human resources needs.
The Council's broad membership base includes textile companies, suppliers and manufacturers, as well as textile-related organizations and associations. Large multinational corporations, mid-sized companies, and smaller firms are all represented.
